How do I book a turf on FirstBookit?
Open FirstBookit, browse turfs by sport or city, pick a date and slot, and pay online. Bookings are confirmed instantly — no phone calls needed. For multi-slot bookings, select multiple time slots and pay once for the whole session.
Is FirstBookit available in my city?
FirstBookit currently serves Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Mehsana, Anand, Bharuch, Junagadh, and Bhavnagar. We're expanding to more Gujarat cities through 2026. Check the Locations page for the latest list.
How do I host a sports tournament on FirstBookit?
Use our multi-slot booking flow to reserve multiple courts and time blocks at once. Share the venue page with participants who can register and pay via our split-payment feature. Coupon codes, refund management, and email confirmations are all handled automatically. See our Tournaments page for details.
What sports are available on FirstBookit?
FirstBookit covers box cricket, full cricket, football (5-a-side and full-sided), badminton, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, and multi-sport complexes. We're adding new sports as venue partners come online.
How does split payment work?
After booking a turf, generate a split-payment link from your booking details. Share it with your group via WhatsApp. Each participant pays their share directly — no more chasing reimbursements. Useful for friend groups, corporate teams, and tournament participants.
Is FirstBookit free to use?
FirstBookit is free to download and browse. You only pay the venue's listed rate when you book a slot. There are no booking fees or hidden charges. Some premium features (like priority weekend slot access) may have nominal fees in the future, but the core booking flow remains free.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Bookings can be cancelled directly from your booking history. Refund policies vary by venue — most allow free cancellation up to 6-12 hours before the slot. Check the venue's cancellation policy on the booking confirmation page.
How do I become a turf owner on FirstBookit?
Sign up with the Turf Owner role on the registration page. Add your venue details, court information, and pricing. Once approved by our team (usually within 24 hours), your venue goes live and you can start accepting online bookings immediately.
Does FirstBookit work on mobile?
Yes — FirstBookit is fully mobile-responsive. Most users book from their phones. We also have native mobile apps in development for iOS and Android, launching later this year.
Can I find players to join my team?
Yes. Use the Find Players feature to post a request specifying your sport, area, and number of players needed. Local players can respond and join your team. Especially useful for last-minute substitutions or building a regular group.
